Janusz founded NATIVE Design Workshop after years of practice across Melbourne and Auckland. The studio operates as a fully integrated practice — architecture and interiors developed under one roof, led by one designer, from the first conversation through to handover.
The studio's work sits at the intersection of architecture and interior design. Rather than treating them as separate disciplines, NATIVE approaches each project as a single spatial problem — where the building and what fills it are resolved together.
Janusz has led work across the Pacific, including a two-year government programme for Pasifika communities — multiple sites, genuine community engagement, and outcomes that reflect the people they serve. The studio brings that same cultural seriousness to every project it takes on.
